Apparently so. News to me too!

What do think of the tracks on their MySpace page Cocktails? I really like the first two.

I notice that "Long Dark River" was one of the tracks on the giveaway CD with the last issue of Word Magazine, dependable arbiters of good taste that they are.

Gosh, it's good isn't it.

You know who they remind me of a bit (despite what I wrote about them a few months back)? Squeeze - with a touch of Steely Dan on the first track and early-90s indie on the second.

Not that I need any more music!

Maybe this is what we both need. It's tomorrow!

(Er, London Jazz Festival gig planned. Oh well...)

Ha! I saw Bill Drummond talking about this a few years ago. He came upon the idea after struggling to get to grips with too much music. I could relate...

What are you seeing at the Jazz Festival?

Tord Gustavsen (friend's recommendation) tomorrow evening, possibly free stuff earlier in the day.

Yes that Bill Drummond story rings a bell with me too.

Oh yes, saw that advertised. Don't know much about them, sure it will be good though - they're on ECM!

Hello again,
I'm afraid I've just tagged you for one of those damn memes. Feel free to ignore or end it here, but I'm sure you'll choose something good!

Er thanks Cocktails. I think. Not sure how that meme thing works I'm afraid...
